My First US Open

After the down fall of my TV cable box, I realized cable TV had consumed most of my down time. I am glad it went down for a day so I could spend sometime on my blog. After a disappointed Saturday gated outside of the US Open without a ticket, I went home and bought a ticket for $50 which would guarantee entrance inside the gate and a seat at the highest point at the Arthur Ash Stadium. It was a great and fun day and I hope you would enjoy the pictures.

US Open Isn't Open til You Get a Ticket

If you are planning on going to the US Open, You better have a ticket. I've been watching the US open here and there on TV for the pass week and i decided to go check it out on Saturday. Being a person who never really plan anything, I didn't get my ticket in advance and found out ticket is require in order to enter the area where you would usually see on TV. Make matters worse, by the time we get there tickets of that day are sold out and I have no cash to get it from resellers. As a passionate of a person I am, I went home and got tickets for Wednesday!!!!!!! Here are some pictures I took on Saturday and will post more after Wednesday.

Monacle NYC Shop

Monocle is currently my favorite magazine. It is a monthly published current event/ lifestyle magazine. Besides the magazine, they have also been opening stores in London, LA, Tokyo, Hong Kong and NYC.  I was excited about the new store and finally dragged myself down to the west village for a visit. The store carries back issues of the magazine, candles, notebooks, clothing, Head Porter bags and furniture made exclusively for Monocle. The store is a little bit small but I think it is very unique. The NYC store just opened on Aug 30th, and I am urging you to pay a visit if you are in any of the cities next time.
